Here at LFC we believe that it all starts with power! By power we mean nutrition, we don’t believe in diets or fads but we put our faith in the science of fitness. Balancing your macro nutrients and eating a proper balanced diet is the key to living a long and healthy life. This is why LFC holds a weekly nutrition and meal prep class in order to educate our members on how to eat healthy as a lifestyle instead of a “diet.”
STRENGTH
Strength is a beautiful thing, but proper training and nutrition makes all the difference in how we become strong. Building muscle has not only been proven to help control body fat but also improve cardiovascular health. By building muscle you allow your body to become something more, stronger, faster, healthier and with that health comes the longevity of life and a happier you.
FUNCTION
Our functional area of training really culminates in the ability and confidence to begin to use your muscles how they were meant to be used. Being functional requires effort and focus and after our educational program you will begin to understand your body and how to control your new muscle. Being functional is important and by bringing all aspects of our programs together you will be able to be more than ever before!
We believe by starting with the basics, working from nutrition up and providing every member the chance to be coached and educated we will begin to improve the health of our clients and the community. We really want to stress the education behind why we coach, the way we coach, and why it is just as important to know about the nutritional aspects of fitness as the strength or functional aspects.
